Timothy W. Godsey, D.D.S., M.S., P.A.

Dr. GodseyDr. Godsey is originally from Lynchburg, Virginia and earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland in 1985. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland in 1989. He completed his postgraduate periodontal training as well as a Masters in Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992. Dr. Godsey was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Periodontology in 2001. The American Board of Periodontology is recognized by the American Dental Association as the national certifying board for the dental specialty of Periodontics. The Board awards Diplomate status upon those who, after two to three years of postdoctoral advanced specialty training at an accredited institution, successfully complete a two part examination which consists of a comprehensive written examination, and an oral examination which includes documented case reports. Dr. Godsey is a member of the The American Dental Association, The American Academy of Periodontology, The North Carolina Society of Periodontology, The Southern Academy of Periodontology and the The Durham Orange Dental Society.

Elizabeth “Liz” Campbell, D.D.S., M.S

Dr. Campbell Dr. Campbell is a native of North Carolina and grew up in Washington, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude from Campbell University in 2009. Dr. Campbell completed her dental training at UNC in 2014 and during that time she was involved in numerous student organizations. She dedicated much of her time to UNC volunteering in various free clinics including SHAC, SHC and MOM clinics. Dr. Campbell was selected to serve as a board member at ENNEAD, a group dedicated to treating the underserved populations. She also traveled to Moldova with fellow dental students to address the needs at several orphanages. She completed her Periodontology training at UNC, where she was chief resident, graduate spurgeon representative, and AAP Foundation Ambassador. Dr. Campbell is a member of the American Dental Association, NC Dental Society and American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Campbell was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Periodontology in 2018.

She has completed LANAP and laser training as well as taken a soft tissue tunneling course with Pat Allen. She also recently traveled to Hungary for a course on ridge augmentation and soft tissue regeneration techniques. Dr. Campbell enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, Nathan and two dogs, Castle and Dumpling. She enjoys being outdoors and considers herself a movie buff.
